”After visiting the same Craftsman style homes over and over, my wife and I decided to look at something different. That is when we found Chris and TriCrest Homes! Their homes give a unique look and are very functionally thought out. Chris worked with us throughout the design phase and we could tell he has a passion for what he does. Paul and the field team answered all of our (many!) questions and were very responsive. Very happy with our selection!
Homeowner
Being underwhelmed with the majority of the Craftsman homes we viewed in the market, TriCrest wanted to create something unique by adding distinctive details like an inverted, lighted tray ceiling in the dining room, the first home in the area with wide plank European oak floors and a clean, free-standing bathtub, which was not seen often in the area at that time. This modern craftsman style home stood out from the repetitive designs being built, which is what attracted our clients to the house. Our craftsman home designs implore clean, crisp lines of trim details that frame the spaces, while timeless finishes of Carrara marble tile floors and countertops lend a home that will translate for years to come. The stairs and rails, along with the dark floor color, give a dynamic contrast to the home, and the soft grey on the walls provide warmth to the ample room sizes. The exterior boxwood landscaping framed the driveway to give the home a unique, traditional English garden vibe from the curb. This design birthed the more contemporary homes that TriCrest pioneered in the McLean area. Feel free to contact us with any questions you have about this contemporary home design.
